Farewell Texas July 28, 2000
Farewell Texas!! We finally escaped the confines of the Lone Star state and slipped into Louisiana. Prior to our departure, we managed a bayou tour on an airboat out of Orange, Texas. I was a little concerned after seeing who our “pilot” was . . . But, what the hell, this was as scary as it would get . . . right!!??  Okay, so things did get a bit more disturbing . . .  but, we managed to escape unscathed and intact (I never was too fond of that 49er hat anyhow!) and moved on to Louisiana.
