No mo Idaho!! Yep, we finally got our transmission replaced and were up and running again on August 24th. We are currently in Laramie, Wyoming and will soon be heading out toward Denver, Colorado. After leaving Arco, Idaho we spent a couple of days in Yellowstone touring the park and enjoying all the animals. We then stopped off in Cody, Wyoming and spent Labor Day weekend in Thermopolis, Wyoming (home of the world’s largest hot spring). I thought that, instead of the usual travel pics we send, I’d send a few photos of the animals we have seen in and about Yellowstone National Park. And so, here ya go . . .
A fox after dark with its headlights on . . .
A bull elk . . . Kalyn chased this guy for an hour to get this closeup!
A buffalo standing near the sign stating, “Buffalo are dangerous. Do not approach." I am definitely married to a daredevil!!
A young grizzly that Kalyn was feeding dog biscuits and trying to coax into our motorhome (he was having no part of it!). And finally . . .
The only kind of bear I would be willing to share my home with! Until next time, hugs, Chuck & Zookie |
