AND the lobster . . .

Were you able to identify the real groundhog in the above picture?  After spending a few hours at the local Elks Lodge and a great pizza at Frank n Steins, we headed out bright and early the next morning and, in no time at all, we were leaf peeping along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and North Carolina…

After several days of hour upon hour leaf peeping in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York we decided to take a break in Pennsylvania…that would be Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania…

Okay, so it isn’t exactly a truck.  But it is practical…assuming that you want to take a fast trip to Maine to visit the lobster…err, I mean my brother-in-law…

Not so long ago we decided to buy a new car.  It has to be a “practical” vehicle we said…something we can use to haul home everything from groceries to Christmas trees.  AHA!  We need a truck!!  And so we went shopping for a new truck.  We checked out Dodge, Chevy, Toyota and Ford.  We kicked tires, went for test drives and dickered with a multitude of motor minions before finally settling on a new Chevy…

Now this would normally be the end of any update but my Bride managed to snap one additional picture which, considering the season, is very prophetic…

See y’all soon!  Gobble, gobble!!!!!  Hugs, CC and me

Coincidentally, without any pre-planning or forethought whatsoever, it just happened to be during that time of year when New England is ablaze with fall color . . .
