Saguaro Scenery                                                        February 1, 2014

She has become so proficient that, through a series of tight turns and jumps, she is able to spell an assortment of words.  She is currently negotiating an advertising contract with our local pub to ride through the park each night while spelling out: “Bud-wei-ser.”  I think she has a real shot at becoming the next Budweiser frog and getting an advertising spot on the Super Bowl.  However, her current ride is a wee bit of a letdown from what she previously rode…

Don’t these things bite?  Gila Monsters and welding gloves go together like peas and carrots.

We did manage to get to the western section of Saguaro National Park and put together a collage of several of the more interestingly shaped saguaro cacti as well as this Ranger with one of the “locals”…

Or another ice age…

Remember folks, “It is cold outside!” so keep your eyes and ears pointed toward that tiny hamlet in western Pennsylvania on February 2 to hear whether Phil thinks we’re heading for a global melt down…

Our last edition left off at Christmas while our in-laws were still in residence at the abandoned trailer across the street.  On December 30 they were discovered and subsequently evicted from the park by campground security and the tunnel they had excavated beneath the fence to gain entry was filled in with concrete.

This month, much like the last one, has been pretty much uneventful so far as providing any fodder to write home about.  That said…my Bride has been entertaining the locals with a nightly light show and display of her cycling expertise astride her illuminated Electra Townie bicycle…

That’ll about do it for now, Kids, so we’ll catch y’all next time.  Hugs, Chuck & Zook
